Colchester Speakers Club is a member of the Association of Speakers Clubs and has been helping people in Essex to Achieve Speaking Confidence since 1972.
The objective of the club is to help people improve their presentation and communication skills and overcome any fear of speaking in front of an audience.
Members learn how to create and deliver speeches in a warm, friendly and
encouraging. environment. Feedback from other members is instant and supportive. By taking a workshop approach, rather than formal teaching, a bond is built between members, and long term benefits are experienced by all.
We would be very happy to have you as a new member but appreciate that most people will have little idea about what we do. Why not come and visit us for a meeting or two and see what you think.
The club meets on the Second Tuesday of each Month in the Conservative Club
There is no charge for visitors and everyone is welcome. See below for
